I would say there are some people like that but for others its just a neat way to make friends.
There are a lot of stuck up snooty people and they are a lot of nice people who just wanna hang out too. Not everyone is a loser. Just like not everyone with a youtube account is a loser because they spend their time on a video site. Everything can be considered too “nerdy” if you take it to an extreme.
